New Generation of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) for Urban Analytics

A semantic-based SDIs to support spatially enabled Societies

We are delighted to announce the Launch of Urban Analytics Data Infrastructure (UADI) on 24 October 2017 at The University of Melbourne.

This is a FREE event with LIMITED SEATS ONLY. Please RSVP here.

Time: 4:30 - 6:30 pm Followed by Networking and Drinks until 7:30 pm

The Urban Analytics Data Infrastructure (UADI) is an Australian Research Council Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities (ARC LIEF) funded project, which was developed in a collaborative project between a consortium of eight urban research centres across Australia to address lack of data integration and harmonisation issues and to develop a series of national data comparative tools.

This digital infrastructure provides capabilities such as:

    • Facilitating a better understanding of datasets
    • Semantic data integration and harmonisation
    • Tool sharing and access to variety of tools/models
    • Improved discovery of comparable urban indicators
    • Provenance information alongside the indicator values

The UADI project has leveraged the collaborative utility and knowledge that has been developed through national and international initiatives such as Australian Urban Research Infrastructure Network (AURIN) to embark on a focused development of a spatial data infrastructure that responds to the specific requirements of multi-source, cross-domain and cross-jurisdictional urban analytics.
