Spatially Enabling Health Data

in the Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires

Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration was commissioned by the Lower Hume Primary Care Partnership (LHPCP) to research the potential and to document the technical requirements for spatially enabling health related data in the Shires of Mitchell and Murrindindi.

Research Aims

  • A basic spatial interpretation of regional data of health services and resources related to key demographic data to:provide an initial general assessment of demand and supply of health services in the study area
  • A spatial analysis of district nursing and Home and Community Care (HACC) services

The study area is comprised of two shires Mitchell and Murrindindi, located approximately 50km North/North East of the Melbourne CBD
